Biography
Self-taught photographer, director, and visual artist Michael Aphane, known as Maverick Seizure, found success early photographing South African and global music stars like J Cole, Bas, and Drake. Set to launch ZeZe Global in early 2026, an agency supporting young African creatives taking talent to global stage, he released his first art collection Resilience In Focus in 2025, setting him apart from the rest. He drives culture forward by bridging local and global music cultures through his lens, proving self-taught African creatives can photograph world's biggest artists, and building infrastructure through ZeZe Global that creates pathways for next generation to access international opportunities.
